The MCP view distinguishes local command/stdio connectors from remote URL/network connectors, charts connector growth, and maps connectors to AI tools and accounts.

  • Which AI tools are approved?
  • Which accounts and hosts use them?
  • Are browser extensions, plugins, CLIs and cloud services inventoried?
  • Which MCP connectors can move data or invoke tools?
  • Which usage is blocked, alerted or uncontrolled?
  • Who owns the exception for each business-approved tool?

Use the Software Catalog’s AI classification and UEC response/domain controls together with this view. Do not assume every AI tool is malicious; the goal is approved, observable usage.
